Born in the Dominican Republic and growing up in the nearby island of Montserrat amongst the Church people, Felix had a passion for food and feeding since an early age. At the age of 15, he started working at a little restaurant that provided food to construction workers. His passion for food continued and carried him from there to lots of other food joints, culinary colleges, and several high profile establishments. He was accepted to one of the best culinary colleges – Liaison College. Here he further supplemented his years of practical experience and love for food with advanced skills. Very quickly he became a champion in fruit and vegetable carving and chocolate and ice sculpturing. It was no surprise to anyone when he won the Knorr Culinary Competition.
In 2014 Felix returned to Liaison College, but this time as a Chef Instructor. He now passes his knowledge and passion for food down to his students. Felix has always followed each of his passions with complete dedication and love, with food being his biggest passion.such as Toronto Board of Trade, Club Link Corporation – Woodbridge Country Club as Executive Sous Chef, Eagle Ridge Golf Club (Georgetown, Ontario) – Executive Chef and Emerald Hills Golf Club, One of Club Link’s largest and highest profile Club as Executive Chef., retirement homes, to presently where he successfully runs his own catering company.
